Human Hair Extensions After Care
Please read instructions carefully
1. Before washing hair,brush gently with a loop bristle brush.
2. De-tangle the ends then brush from the roots to the tips. Make sure that the hair extensions have been separated in the root area.
3. Wash hair extensions at least once a week to prevent natural oils from building up on the scalp area.
4. Any shampoo can be used because our bond does not break down.
5. The head should be in an upright position (i.e. in the shower or sitting in the bath) so that the hair flows in a vertical direction down the sides of the head.
6. Any water tempature is fine.
7. Use you fingers to stroke the shampoo gently into the hair from the roots to the tips.
8. Rinse thoroughly using clean running water, gently squeeze but DO NOT rub to remove excess water.
9. Apply re-constructor or leave in conditioner if prefered using downward stroking movements from mid-length to the ends.
10. DO NOT not massage or rub the root area for you will cause roots to tangle.
11. Apply deep conditioner if you would like or as needed.
12. After washing and conditioning, wrap a towel around the hair and pat gently to remove excess water. (do not rub extensions).
13. Before drying de-tangle hair from the ends, working up wards with a wide toothed comb. Dry with a dryer using a medium heat. A diffuser is a great tool for curls or waves.
14. If you would like you can braid your hair at night, but this is not needed like other extensions.
15. NEVER sleep on wet or damp extensions, the extensions should always be dry.
16. Always hold the extensions while brushing to avoid placing tension on your own hair, never back comb the roots area.
17. Brush hair and de-tangle regularly and wash frequently if the scalp is greasy.
18. Electric curling irons and hot irons may be used, but avoid the bonded areas as direct heat may soften and distort the bonds.
19. DO NOT wash hair for 24 hours after application. You may wet with water.
Your hair extensions can be worn for up to 4-6 months, and should be removed and replaced.
